Technical Information

DRIVE MOUNTING AND STEERING :

Full floating gear transmission steers unit via steering arm mounted on 90mm. diameter pivot tube.  Entire unit is ball and roller bearing mounted for light steering effort and is fitted with upper and lower thrust bearings.  Heavy coil spring ensures maximum traction and large diameter castors support unit weight.

STRUCTURAL :

Unit construction chassis, is an integral welded steel structure built to take severe use by distributing stresses.  Heavy gauge steel plate and continuous seam welding is used throughout chassis.

HYDRAULIC SYSTEM :

• Heavy duty gear pump is mated to hard chormeplated lift cylinders, providing smooth lift performance with modest power consumption.
• Full system filtration through fine micron filter on pump intake line, prevents the ingress of foreign material to the system.
• Built-in-relief valve protects entire system from overload.
• Pressure compensating flow control valve at base of lift cylinder regulates maximum lowering speed.

ELECTRICAL SYSTEM

• Solid state "Mosfet" speed controller offers smooth, stepless, controlled acceleration with high starting torque and "plug" breaking facility with no waste of battery power or premature contactor failure.
• Direction contactors are fitted with replaceable silver alloy tips and are of the non-arcing type for extended service life.
• Hydraulic pump motor is specially selected for peak electrical efficiency at specific torque and r.p.m. to
