Larsen & Toubro Ltd. a/c IOCL, Panipat Macneill has booked an order for 54 Nos. Forklift Trucks to be supplied to Indian Oil Corporation - Panipat through L&T for using in hazardous zone 22 area. This truck was approved by CMRI/Dhanbad and DNV and inspecting agency appointed by L&T. PRODUCT DEVELOPMENT Macneill is the only Indian manufacturer of the Hi-Reach Trucks for ware-house application with reach carriage suitable for narrow isle stacking. Due to increased requirement of utilisation of vertical space, Macneill has successfully developed Trucks for use to increased stacking height upto 7500mm. Development is complete and under trial for increased travel speed from 5km/hr. with improved hydraulic braking system. |
Macneill Engineering Ltd. has designed, developed and manufactured a new class of Battery operated Forklift Truck for operation in Zone 22 hazardous area. The company has secured an order of 54 Forklifts of 1.5 Ton capacity from L&T for use by Indian Oil Corporation Ltd (IOCL) for its PTA Plant at Panipat. The product is developed as per guidelines given by EIL, Central Mining Research Institute. Dhanbad is the Certifying agency and DNV is the Third Party Inspection Agency. Macneill Engineering is the only company in India and South East Asia to manufacture Forklift for use in hazardous area. |
