Special Features:
- Unit compact, totally enclosed with gasketted joints, The case
and lid are of mild steel and consequently suitable for use in places demanding a robust
apparatus.
- Magnetic type overload protection with oil dashpot type
time lag device, which is adjustable, provides, insurance against motor burnout. They are
both trip-free and tamper-proof.
- The auto transformer starters are designed for ordinary duty,
and standard tappings are provided at 50%, 60% and 80% of line voltage. Other percentage
tappings can be brought out to suit special requirements.
- Under-voltage protection by no-volt coil.
- Earth-leakage relay can be fitted on these units to protect
the circuit from earth fault.

- Correct sequence device rendering it impossible to put the
handle into the "Running" position without going through the "Start"
position.
- Tripping by push button fitted on the unit.
- Remote stopping is possible by push button station or any
other tripping device-for which the no-volt terminals are brought out.
- Provision for fitting an isolator- interlocked with the
unit-so that opening of the unit is not possible till the isolator is made
"Off".
- Padlocking arrangement for isolator.
- Cable sealing boxes can be supplied for underground paper
insulated cables-the standard unit, however, being suitable for PVC cable entry.
- The unit has the provision for fitting one metering instrument
directly on itself. For more than one unit, an instrument panel is provided.
